Dr. Talebian is a highly experienced general dentist and oral surgeon. He has over 50 years of dental experience, which includes operating for over 20 years, working at various clinics around the province and offering courses in general dentistry, oral surgery and periodontal surgery to other dental professionals.
He has also been an orthodontic treatment provider for over 30 years. Starting from the old methods of metal bracketing and through various evolutionary progression into the present Invisalign. He has two orthodontic certificates – one with UBC and the other with the International Orthodontic Association through the long term participation in postgraduate programs and study clubs.
At Willow Dental Care Vancouver, Dr. Talebian offers general, cosmetic and surgical dentistry services for more complex issues. Common surgical procedures include tooth extraction, dental bone grafts, dental implants, periodontal surgery, and extraction of impacted wisdom teeth with oral sedation. Other periodontal services include gum disease treatments, crown lengthening, root canal treatments and flap procedures for pocket reductions. Cosmetic procedures include BOTOX®, teeth whitening dental bonding and porcelain veneers. Oral sedation is also available for those with dental anxiety or who are undergoing lengthy procedures.

Dr. Talebian obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) with honors from the University of Baghdad. After several years of practice, he enrolled in a four-year postdoctoral oral surgery training program in the United Kingdom where he received his FDSRCS Diploma. Dr. Talebian has practiced dentistry in both Canada and the United Kingdom.

When away from the office, Dr. Talebian is a devoted family man. He has been married to his wife Sawsan and they have four grown children.
